Dr. Chelsea Kepler, Dentist
Dr. Kepler grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana. She became interested in pursuing a career in dentistry at the age of sixteen after her orthodontist suggested she look into the field because of her many clinical questions for him. She graduated from dental school at Indiana University in 2017, then completed a residency in general practice dentistry at the University of Michigan in 2018. Before coming to work at Affordable Dental Care, she worked to bridge the access-to-care gap through work at a community health center in Indianapolis as well as volunteering at a dental clinic serving refugees in Amman, Jordan. Outside of work, Dr. Kepler loves cooking (and eating!), traveling whenever possible, watching movies and shows with her husband, and playing with her dog.

Dr. Chuck Rubash, Dentist
Dr. Chuck grew up in Aurora, Minnesota, and graduated from dental school at Marquette University in 1981. He practiced dentistry in New Lisbon, WI, for 30 years before selling his practice and moving to Madison. He worked at the Whitewater clinic until it merged with the Madison clinic and then started at the Madison location, which significantly shortened his commute!
Dr. Chuck's mom gave him some direction as far as what you should do with your life, which helped him decide he wanted to become a dentist. His favorite thing about working at Affordable Dental Care is that everyone is really friendly, gets along, and does a nice job. Outside of work, he's a "comic geek" and sometimes travels to Comic Con events.

Alan Thompson, Office Manager
Alan was born in Neenah, WI, and grew up in Fitchburg, WI. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Iowa State University with a minor in Economics. He has worked at Affordable Dental Care since the Madison office opened in April 2018, but he worked in the same building at the previous clinic for two years before ADC moved in.
Alan didn't always know he wanted to work in dentistry, but his friend's dad needed an office manager for his dental clinic and Alan was the right fit! He likes working at Affordable Dental Care because of the other staff members he gets to work with each day. When he's not at work, Alan loves hiking and photography, so he takes lots of photos of the nature he sees on his hikes. You can see his photography on the calendar when you walk into our office!

Victoria Pogue, Hygienist
Victoria was raised in California, but has lived in and loved Wisconsin for the past decade after moving here with only a suitcase. While caring for animals as a veterinarian technician, she found her love for cleaning teeth. This ultimately led to the discovery of her passion for improving overall systemic health by improving the oral health of others. After switching careers to the field of dentistry, she spends every day following her passion by providing benevolent care to her patients. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son, kayaking with her dog, Winslow, or reading a book under a tree. Her favorite quote is "Sometimes when you are in a dark place you think you've been buried, but you've actually been planted." Ella habla español tambien. :)

Zulay Montiel, Dental Assistant
Zulay grew up in Machiques, Venezuela, and studied dentistry at the University of Zulia. She has worked at Affordable Dental Care since the Madison office opened in April 2018. There was a dental office in Zulay's middle school in Venezuela, which she visited often because the dentist was really handsome. Because she was there so much, the dentist thought she liked the office, so he gave her a tour and showed her the dental equipment. One day, he took her hands and told her that she had the hands of a dentist. She wanted to work in dentistry from that day on. Her favorite part of working at Affordable Dental Care is the humanity she witnesses in this office. When she's not at work, Zulay likes to play tennis, which has been a hobby of hers since she lived in Venezuela. She loves to spend time with her adorable daughter, who was born in September 2019.
